- Milanosesto is the major urban redevelopment project of the area formerly occupied by Falck steel factories in Sesto San Giovanni. The global area of 140 ha will house a new district with residential (15.000 inhabitants), offices and retail as well as public services (including the City a Health Research and a new train station). Retail will be divided into three main areas including the Sesto Mall. Nearly half of the surfaces (65 ha) will be dedicated to green spaces. The master plan was designed by Renzo Piano. Developer : Bizzi & Partners Development. Fawaz Al Hokair Group is one of the investors.
