Calle Goya has the best pedestrian traffic in the Salamanca district. Limited supply but a lot of demand, consequently leading to very high prices. El Corte Ingles acts as anchor, just as it does on Calle Princesa and Calle Preciados. Massimo Dutti recently took over the lease of the French chain Celio. The former Carlos III cinema (n°5) now accomodates Platea Madrid, a 5.800 sqm high-end food court.
La calle Goya se beneficia del mejor tránsito peatonal del barrio de Salamanca. Muy poca oferta, mucha demanda, y por consiguiente unos alquileres muy altos. Al igual que en las calles Preciados y Princesa, El Corte Inglés juega un papel de locomotora. Recientemente, Celio traspasó su tienda a la marca Massimo Dutti.
