Espace Grand Rue

This two-storey shopping centre is located in the heart of Roubaix, and only a stone's throw from the McArthurGlen Factory Outlet. It has a Leclerc hypermarket (formerly Géant until 2019), H&M and Kiabi as anchors. The site is accessible via metro line 2 (Eurotéléport station). Although a difficult start, the proximity of two commercial entities with distinct purposes (a "classical" shopping centre and a "factory outlet") should allow the Espace Grand Rue centre to draw clients from outside its catchment area in the future. After the opening of the "Duplex" multiplex cinema nearby end of 2003, the leisure offer has been reinforced with the opening of a 1.300 sqm Furet du Nord unit.
Ce centre commercial de deux niveaux se situe au coeur de Roubaix à un jet de pierre du Centre d'Usine McArthurGlen. Il a pour locomotives un hypermarché Lecler (qui a remplacé Géant en 2019), H&M et Kiabi. Le site est desservi par la ligne 2 du métro (station Eurotéléport). Malgré un démarrage difficile, la proximité des deux entités commerciales à vocation distincte (centre commercial "classique" et "magasins d'usine") devrait permettre, à moyen terme, au Centre Espace Grand Rue de bénéficier d'un apport de clientèle "extérieure" à sa zone de chalandise. Après l'ouverture multiplexe "Duplex" à proximité fin 2003, l'offre "loisirs" a été renforcée avec l'ouverture d'un Furet du Nord de 1.300 m2 .
