Grand Var is the only regional shopping centre located on the city outskirts (as its "competitor", the Centre Mayol is located in the town centre). It now occupies three buildings. In addition to the Carrefour hypermarket and the Printemps department store, it has a shopping arcade which accommodates 130 stores, and is surrounded by an extensive stock of middle-sized stores such as Ikea, Toys R Us, Virgin, Decathlon, etc (see Zone de la Valette and Grand Ciel). The Grand Var Sud building (6.336 sqm GLA) situated opposite to it and accomodating 3 MS (Kiabi, Go Sport and formerly Saturn) is owned and managed by Altarea. In 2014, the Printemps department store was remodelled and expanded by 2.500 sqm and accomodates a 1.500 sqm Citadium store. Ownership : Carrefour Property
Grand Var est le seul centre commercial régional situé en périphérie de Toulon ( son "concurrent", le Centre Mayol étant situé en centre ville). Il s'étend maintenant sur trois bâtiments. Outre l'hypermarché Carrefour et le Printemps, il possède une galerie de 130 boutiques, et est entouré d'un parc important de moyennes surfaces dont Ikea, Toys 'R' Us, Virgin, Decathlon... (voir Zone de la Valette et Grand Ciel). Le magasin Habitat a fermé en février 2003. Le bâtiment Grand Var Sud situé en face de Grand Var (6.336 m2) qui accueille 3 MS (Kiabi, Go Sport, Saturn-fermé) est la propriété d'Altarea qui en assure aussi la gestion. En 2014, Le Printemps a été restructuré et agrandi de 2.500 m2 et accueille un magasin Citadium de 1.500 m2. Propriétaire : Carrefour Property.
