- Completely pedestrian, this is the most important shopping street in Milan, going from Piazza Duomo to Piazza S. Babila, with underground (subway) connections. The street is very wide and has porticos on both sides. It connects Galleria Vittorio Emanuele to the Duomo. The presence of fashion retail chains is more representative of a middle-range product offering by stores such as Benetton, Max & Co., Max Mara, and Swatch. There are various large stores, such as Rinascente, the only departement centre in the town centre with six floors totalling about 22,000 sq. m.; Benetton Megastore 1.700 sqm, Zara 2.500 sqm and H&M 1.700 sqm. The redevelopment of Galeria di Servi permitted the arrivals of new megastores : Mango, Gap (2.400 sqm) and Banana Republic (1.700 sqm - taken over by Adidas in 2017) while the former Conbipel megastore (1.300 sqm) is now occupied by Bershka and Sephora.
