Inaugurated in 1931, Milano Centrale is the second italian railway station (both in size and traffic) after Roma Termini. It is one of the 13 "Grandi Stazioni" which was, like Roma Termini, refurbished and expanded to include larger retail areas : 30.000 sqm for some 80 shops . A shopping arcade has been created at the ground floor. Among the major anchors : Conad, Media Markt, Feltrinelli Nike. Camomilla, Pepe Jeans, Lush are some of the latest arrivals.
