Polish Fashion retailer group, LLP, has just signed another four lease agreements in Europa Centralna, Helical Poland’s 67,000 sqm flagship shopping centre and retail park scheme in Gliwice, Silesia. Three well-established brands Cropp, House, Mohito and a new young fashion line will join LPP’s Reserved in the development, which is on track to open in Autumn 2012.

These are the conclusions from a recent survey carried out on office workers in Poland by Polnord SA – “My Work Place - Office Barometer.”

True multi channel retailing has yet to be seen in its perfect form, according to Alexander Otto, Chief Executive Officer at ECE Projektmanagement. Speaking during a panel session at the ICSC’s annual European Conference in Berlin, alongside fellow CEOS, Marcus Wild of SES Spar European Shopping Centres and Gerard Groener of Corio, the panel agreed that ecommerce remains the biggest and most immediate challenge facing both retailers and shopping centres.

Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed property manager for the Dukat Department Store in Olsztyn. The building was acquired by Arka BZ WBK Fundusz Rynku Nieruchomości 2 FIZ in 2009 and in 2010 underwent a thorough modernization. It was reopened in Autum 2011. Currently the refurbished store offers more space while preserving its original features from the sixties, which include its shape and glazed facade.
