This was the first Ikea centre built in Poland. Although it is some 20 km far for the city centre of Warsaw, it is still a busy weekend destination. The Janki Centre has completed building some underground parking to increase the number of parking units by 1500. The centre has gone though a stage of beautifying itself, by providing shelter between the retail units on the outside for those unpredictable weather changes. It has been recently extended by 9.000 sqm to accomodate Electro World.
