The Altus (previously it was known as the Uni Centrum) in Katowice is located right in the centre of Katowice, within an easy walk from the Rynek (market square). The business centre is of mixed usage, but will mainly contain office space, a Helios Cinema and with some retailing on 4 levels. The retailing is limited to services and there's little interest from other retailers. The Qubus Hotel Prestige consists of 300 rooms located on 9 floors of this building. The offices are located on 14 floors on approx 13 200 m2. Although the retail was trading late 2003, the official openning wasn't held untill the 18 of september 2004.
