Auchan Saint Sébastien

Located on Nantes' southern ring-road, this centre was for a long time one of the town's main commercial hubs. The opening of the Leclerc Porte Océane centre and the extension of the Atlantis centre have to a certain extent destabilized this site, but things could be looking up with its recent expansion/renovation (7.000 sqm, 22 shops) and the opening of a restauration and leisure hub (3 100 msq). Cenorinvest has developped a 10.000 sqm retail park opposite to the shopping centre (including La Halle ! , La Halle Chaussures). The extension of the hypermarket (+ 2980 sqm) was refused by local authorities end 2006 and by national authorities in May 2007.
Situé sur la rocade Sud de Nantes, ce centre fut longtemps un des principaux pôles commerciaux de la ville. L’ouverture du LECLERC Porte Océane et l’extension d’ATLANTIS ont quelque peu déstabilisé le site, Mais sa récente extension/rénovation (7.000 m2, 22 boutiques) et de l’ouverture d’un pôle restauration /loisirs (3 100 m2) pourrait contribuer à rétablir sa situation. Cenorinvest a développé un parc d'activités de 10.000 m2 environ en face du centre commercial (accueillant notamment La Halle ! et La Halle Chaussures). Une demande d'extension de l'hypermarché (+ 2980 m2) a été rejetée par la CDEC fin 2006 et par la CNEC en mai 2007.
