Tesco Warszawa-Piastow

The merger of Tesco and Hit in Poland in 2002 means that any new development, went under the name of Tesco. When this centre was first started it was in the style of a Hit shopping centre. When it opened in 2002 all signage were in Tesco colors and logos. This centre is on the outskirts of Warsaw in a town called Piastów. This has been the first real shopping centre of its type in Piastów, with no other competition near by. (Reduta is some 7 kms away, with Blue City on the opposite side of the street). It mainly accomodates Polish retailers.
