Vialia Estacion Maria Zambrano

In addition to the renovation of the railway station, an important urban project has been developed by Nesca (a Riofisa and Adif joint-venture 60%-40%) in its surroundings : some 45.500 sqm of retail and leisure facilities has been created, including a Yelmo multiplex cinema (13 screens), some 95 shops and restaurants in the two-storey shopping arcade, an hotel (220 rooms), an opened-air leisure park and 1.300 underground parking places. The station accomodates the high-speed trains since end 2007 and benefits of the connection with the light metro network. In May 2014 Adif and Riofisa sold Vialia to a a consortium of Brazilian investors for 65 M € (TIAA Henderson being in charge of it).
