- Ulica Świętojańska is the better of the 2 streets connecting ul. Krakowskie Przedmiescie and the Rynek Starego Miasta (Old Town). Even though it's a relativily short street, it has a much, much higher foot traffic count than the parallel street to it called, ul. Piwna. The retailing on ul. Świętojańska is mainly restaurants and gift/souvenier shops selling amber and other crafts from Poland, as tourist head into the Rynek Starego Miasta. Very little rotation happens on this street, however Restauracja Polka was new in 2008. Whereas in 2009 Mix Shop Souvenirs and Subway are new.
