  • The Tauentzien area nowadays commands the highest retail rents. The reason for this lies in the high frequency of visits by shoppers and tourists : the famous KADEWE acts as a magnet to shoppers, occupying an area of over 60,000 sqm in the eastern section of the street. its new owners will invest 180M€ in its requalification. Alongside this, another major anchor is the P&C store. In the western section, Esprit, Nike Town Zara, Mc Donald's provide much activity. And the major changes since 2005 have been on the section between Marburger Str. and Rankestr. with the arrivals of Adidas, Esprit, Vero Moda - Jack & Jones, the Appelrath - Cüper megastore (opened sept.06) but later replaced by C&A and Desigual. In 2011, Bershka took over the C&A unit. 2013 saw the opening of Forever 21 on some 3.000 sqm and 2014 saw the arrival of the first Uniqlo store in Germany. Reserved took over the Puma and Mc Donald's stores (2.000 sqm) in 2016.

Daneben ein weiterer großer Anker mit P&C sowie im westlichen Teil Hugendubel, Esprit, Nike Town, Zara, und jetzt Mc Donald's die für intensive Belebung sorgen.
