- The Headrow Shopping Centre, in Leeds city centre (which was builton the site of the former Schofields department store in the late 1980s) used to be a down market shopping centre in Leeds, full of an array of shops, including antiques shops, clothes stores, music outlets and sports shops, spread over three floors, Headrow Shopping Centre also features a number of restaurants and cafés in the Food Hall area, bars, nightclubs, a 13-screen multiplex cinema and a health club. It was refurbished and extended in 2008/2009. The food hall was relocated at the fourth floor. The centre is now called "The Core. Opening of Waitrose in November 2010. The Core was once again refurbished in 2014/2015. Owner : Propinvest.
