Ocean Terminal

Three storey shopping centre located on the waterfront of Edinburgh, about a 10 min drive north from the city centre. Its main anchors are Debenhams, Bhs, Baxters, a 12-screen multiplex cinema, Gap, Top Shop, HMV, H&M Simply Food etc. One of its main attractions is the Britannia royal yacht anchored nearby. A large redevelopment scheme is under way in the "Waterfront" area : 280.000 sqm of office area, 70.000 sqm of retail, 56.000 sqm of leisure, and up to 18.000 homes (see Edinburgh Forthside). An extension of Ocean Terminal is also under study. In January 2012, Forth Ports sold Ocean Terminal to Resolution Property. The two companies will work together on the extension of the shopping hub.
