- The former Hertie Kaufhaus department store located on Karl Marx Strasse has been remodelled to accomodate a shopping arcade and a parking lot of some 610 places. C&A (2.400 sqm), H&M (2.400 sqm), TK Maxx (2.400 sqm), Esprit (650 sqm), Edc by Esprit (700 sqm), DM (800 sqm), Aldi (1.100 sqm) and Mäc Geiz (550 sqm) are the main tenants. All the shops were open in May 2010. 1982 (Takko) took over the Esprit stores in 2012. Investment : 70 Millions Euros. Developers : Centrum / Comfort Berlin. AIK acquired the scheme from Centrum and B&L for about 57 M € in December 2012.
