Manchester Airport is the third busiest airport in the UK. Its retail area was recently remodelled to accomodate a 2.320 sqm Tax and Duty Free shopping arcade. Among the latest openings : Sock Shop, Claire's, Franck & Benny's. Owner : The Manchester Airports Group. A large development scheme (about 37 ha) called Airport City (including offices, logistics, hotels, leisure, retail) is currently under study. A tender for developers and investors is currently under way.
