- The Centre is located about 15 min away from Edinburgh, downtown Livingstone. The Centre is the new name for both the Amondvale Centre anchored by a 14.000 sqm Asda superstore (the largest one in Scotland), Argos... and its extension "Elements Square" which was inaugurated in October 2008 (35.000 sqm, 43 new units with new anchors including Marks & Spencer and Debenhams 8.350 sqm each, Next, H&M). As the centre represents the Livingston's commercial town centre, its retail mix includes more services than in a classic shopping centre. The commercial hub is completed by the Livingston Designer Outlet, and a retail park. It benefits from 9.000 free car places. Primark opened on 4.560 sqm December 2011. Land Securities sold it (along with Almondvale West retail park) to Hines and HSBC Alternative Investments for about 224,1 M £. It was revamped in 2017.
