Shopping centre located downtown Glenrothes, 31 miles north from Edinburg and 24 miles south of Dundee. Originally open in the 60's, it is the commercial heart of the city and it was several times renovated and extended. The last extension was in 1993 with the creation of the Rothes Halls (community facility which includes a theatre, a library and conference facilities) and the multi-level car park. It is anchored by a Dunnes department store. Open 7 days a week, Kingdom welcomes some 200.000 visitors weekly. A new extension is under way with the creation of a 7.900 sqm food store (Sainsbury's). In September 2013 Lasalle Investment Management acquired it from AXA Real Estate for 34.3 M £.
