- Shopping centre situated downtown Stretford, about 3 miles south-west from Manchester city centre. Originally built in 1969 and formerly known as Arndale Stretford until 2003, it is anchored by a Tesco superstore, Boots, and the Quality Save department store. The mall which is owned by Stretford Limited Partnership has gone into receivership in March 2010. Jones Lang La Salle has been appointed as receivers. In 2014, it was acquired by Lunar Holdings (Apollo Global ManagementM&M Asset Management)as a part from the £ 400m Project Moon receivership portfolio. The centre could suffer more from the opening of the new 14.900 sqm Tesco store near the cricket stadium, a mile away. TJ Hugues reopened its 1.858 sqm store (closed in 2011) in October 2014.
