Clarence Dock

Clarence Dock is a mixed-use development situated on the south bank of the river. It includes 1.100 apartments, 9.300 sqm of offices and about 35 retail units. It accomodates Alea, the largest Yorkshire's casino. Next to it are the Royal Armouries museum and the Saviles conference hall. In February 2012 Allied London acquired the 150-year head lease on the scheme from Lend Lease (Landlord : British Waterways). A redevelopment scheme is currently under way as the initial scheme failed to attract high footfall.
