TIAA Henderson Real Estate and Land Securities’ new Buchanan Galleries will deliver 110,000 sq m of retail, leisure and restaurant space to the heart of Glasgow, and will be anchored by two major flagship stores – a
new 13,000-sq m Marks & Spencer, and a reconfigured 27,000-sq m John Lewis department store.
Buchanan Galleries will be home to more than 100 shops and 25 restaurants as well as a state of the art Showcase Cinema de Lux. Located in the existing retail heart of Scotland’s largest city, which has the highest level of retail spend outside London, the newly extended centre will give national and international brands a rare opportunity to gain a prominent foothold in a city renowned for its fashion, culture, food and style.
Buchanan Galleries is scheduled to open in 2017.
